THE SECRET RECIPE FOR BUILDING A CARING, HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAM
Class Description:
This session is specifically designed for food bloggers who are ready for the next level of business but are missing out on opportunities because they don’t have an effective team in place. They are spending way too much time doing all the little things and want to spend more time in their personal zones of genius.
In many cases, they have hired in the past, it hasn’t worked out and they are overwhelmed with figuring it out because they aren’t sure what to do differently.
In this presentation, Emily will share the secret formula that she’s developed and used to hire a dozen contractors in her own business, as well as transform the team at Bless This Mess, a wholesome and family-friendly food blog, so that the owner, Melissa Griffiths, could pursue other opportunities.
When you attend, you will learn how to:
Increase your confidence in your next hire by using an organizational strategy.
Write a job description that attracts high performers.
Filter candidates so that you only interview the best.
Decrease the overwhelm around selecting the right candidate.
Set yourself up for success with three simple practices for onboarding.

Presented by Melissa Griffiths and Emily Perron:
Melissa is the founder of Bless This Mess, a food blog focused on helping moms create simple meals that are both wholesome and delicious for the past 10 years. As a mother of five, she is passionate about empowering women to take care of themselves by sharing stories from her own experiences.
Melissa and her husband live on a 12-acre hobby farm in southern Utah with their five incredible children, five baby bunnies, 23 chickens. As demands on her time grew the hours in the day seemed to shrink. Hiring a high level team full of talented contractors is what saved the day. Melissa now has time to get more serious on aspects of her business that had taken a back seat in the past. She also has more time to cuddle her bunnies and play with her kids.
